Samaj Studio supports Chayn, a UK-based nonprofit that works globally to support, uplift, and advocate for survivors of tech abuse and gender-based violence. We help broadly with developing trauma-informed products, services, and experiences for survivors of gender-based violence. This work requires the deepest application of our core principles — safety first, privacy always, and a profound respect for the experiences and agency of the people being served.

Designing for survivors means holding complexity with care: understanding that every design decision carries weight, that trust is fragile and hard-won, and that beauty and dignity matter even (especially) in the hardest moments. It is work that has shaped our practice in ways that touch everything else we do.
